It is an Organisation of Investigation no Governmental (NGO) Galician, that has like aims

the reserch, divulging and the conservation of the marine mammals, and other marine

species loomed, of Galicia (NW Spain), promoting and participating in different studies

on the cetaceos and improving informative appearances  by means of exhibitions and conferences.

In  GREMMAR DOLPHINS RESCUE are associated specialists, people to individual title,

fishermen, or other workers of the sea and  institutions that work in marine fauna.

LOS DELFINES MULARES EN TODAS LAS RIAS DE GALICIA

LOS DELFINES MULARES SON OBSERVADOS EN ESTAS FECHAS EN TODAS LAS RIAS DE GALICIA

Desde mediados del mes de Febrero pero este mes de Marzo, las manadas de Tursiops truncatus

 (Delfin mular o en gallego Arroaz)

estan constantemente presentes y con crias del año pasado muy activas.

CON LAS COMUNICACIONES DE PARTICULARES Y ORGANISMOS OFICIALES QUE REALIZAN SUS ACTIVIDADES EN EL MAR INFORMANDO SOBRE LA PRESENCIA DE CETACEOS Y EN CONCRETO EL DELFIN MULAR (ARROAZ en gallego) TURSIOPS TRUNCATUS

LOS EQUIPOS DE NUESTRA ORGANIZACIÓN RECABAN DATOS ETOLOGICOS (Comportamiento) COMO EL DESPLAZAMIENTO DE EJEMPLARES O MANADAS POR TODA LA COSTA DE GALICIA.

CON LAS FOTOGRAFIAS OPTENIDAS MEDIANTE EL METODO DE (Foto-Identificación) REGISTRAMOS EJEMPLARES POR SEPARADO Y A SU VEZ A QUE MANADA ESTA ASOCIADA Y POR QUE ZONAS COSTERAS SE DESPLAZAN Y SU PERMANENCIA.

(Método  de  Foto-Identificación implica el registro de las marcas naturales, daños o tattus en las aletas dorsales de los ejemplares)     

En estos momentos GREMMAR-DOLPHINS RESCUE Organización posee un archivo de Foto-Identificación de 8450 registros que implica un reconocimiento de un 85% de la Comunidad Costera Residente de Delfín mular o Arroaz real de las aguas de la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia.
